Title: good-bye days
Description: the individual thread for easy access XD

zuttodayo - May 24, 2006 11:41 PM (GMT)
*edit: Recently I was watching the new YUI live tour thing and on Good-Bye days, when she plays that Dm in the chorus on "kinou made ni", etc. she plays a Dm7. In this case both sound pretty much the same in the song its just a difference of one string and they dont sound all that different. But just so you know!

at jasonshinji's suggestion im just going to repost this here so the tabs will be easier to find for incoming people who dont feel like going through an entire thread lol

all right guys, here's my attempt at the good-bye days tab. it's slightly different than what the pictures from the taiyo no uta site say, but i spent forever listening to it and there are slight differences that i heard. feel free to make any corrections though and we'll see if it works :)

now first off: the chord guide.

these are the chords used in the song, in alphabetical order, tab form:

*note: In the song, it's easier to use the Dm chord up on the 5th fret at the end of the chorus when the chord progression goes Bm7 C#m7 Dm. So, in this tab, i'm going to call Dm on the 5th fret "dm" with a lowercase "d." confused? you'll see what i mean when you play the song :) or you can watch a short video explination here: dm on the fifth fret

For those of you who are more visual:

So! onto the song. Chords are placed over lyrics at approximately where they should be played in the song. Hope it isn't too confusing >_<

Nice!! Looks pretty much accurate, though I think the Dm in the chorus should be a D.

anyway thanks 4 the chords :)

+Kardboard+ - June 28, 2006 08:38 PM (GMT)
Wow, great work! Haven't stopped playing that song since I got the tab.

Also, I think that in the chorus a D sounds better than a Dm or a Dm7 for the "Kinou made ni" part. *shrug* It's just me though.

yeah i think in the full version she does a D or a Dadd9, but somehow... in the first acoustic edition (which i based it off of), i could've sworn she plays some form of a Dm chord...dunno lol maybe im wrong... oh well but yeah in the cd version they play Dadd9 i think...^_^;;

fumikoh9 - July 13, 2006 02:17 AM (GMT)
Wow, zuttodayo, thanks for this! Now I am learning to play and sing, this is my favorite of Yui's songs! You are very nice to do this!

P.S. Why is this written below my avatar: I know Yui. I actually do not know her although we grew up both in west Japan and I have visited her hometown many times, I do not know if she has visited mine.

jpopshampoo - July 19, 2006 02:05 PM (GMT)
omg thanks so much for this... I have one question, on the chords of Bm7, C#m7, dm, F#7 and F#m7, what do the thick solid lines through the chord diagrams mean? Thanks.

P.S This is my 1st post! :biggrin :guitar

br4d137 - July 19, 2006 04:19 PM (GMT)

Some of your lyrics are wrong.. like

QUOTE
Sotto Poketto no

It's just "poketto no"

QUOTE
Demo yatte kuru desu oh?

It's "Demo yatte kuru desho?"

QUOTE
Ie tara ii noni

It's supposed to be, "Ieta nara ii no ni"

And there's lots of spacing errors, too. Thanks for your effort, but I think I'll stick to zuttodayo's chords ;)

chuBBy_dogZ - August 16, 2006 03:15 PM (GMT)
