The name "Sowelu" means "sun" was given by her grandfather who studied ancient Irish runes. Sowelu begun her music career in 2002 with the release of her first album. Soon she also taken part in the theme song for World Cup 2002 Japan/Korea, Let's Get Together Now, together with Chemistry and Lena Park and Brown Eyes of Korea. She started of rather slow but she started to get attention with her album Geofu release. She has featured also in the song So Exclusive by m-flo. She's just released her 13th single, Dear friend.

rr...actually the thread about Sowelu already existed. And then I was about to joke about how you just spam with this thread :P but, seeing ur effort for summarizing her bio..suddenly I felt guilty ^^

I'm somewhat kinda into her as well. I dun usually listen much to R&B songs but there's sth bout her that makes me stick listening her..My favourites are I will, to You, and Last Forever..

New... ettoo... Most of the Jpop that I'm listening... at most was 6 months old... remember I mentioned somewhere in this forum that I wasn't active looking for Jpop stuff for around 7 years... I made a comeback early this year ^^ ... except those that have been in the scene for quite some time like Ayumi, Namie, Arashi etc etc I'll know more or less a bit about them... So I guess should consider new I guess... maybe for around 1-2 months~?

Just that only recently I got exceptionally hooked after watching Last Forever PV... I don't know why...Previously I've heard about her but didn't really look up for her music and stuff... :) One song can change the whole thing I guess... :lol: Although I think she's really just an average of a singer (maybe above average)... definitely not of those exceptionally good those type...
