Wow, what have I got my self into here... YUI stuff is sooooo expensive.

I used to be a very fanatic ZARD collector, and things were never this expensive and there weren't a lot of "limited" things either. Man, if it weren't for the fact that I have other hobbies such as gaming, collecting figures and manga, I would have so much more money to spend on YUI stuff.

Where do you guys buy your *rare* YUI merchandise? Is it mainly off the Japanese Yahoo auctions? I might be interested in buying posters of the next singles and albums, what's the best place for that? Also, how do you guys know which magazines contain YUI and where do you get them? In the past I've only been able to track down 2 magazines containing ZARD T_T

Well, that is over-inflated... But do remember that the only way to get this from Yahoo Auctions is to have a Japanese address, as well as being a paid premium member for bids above 5,000yen.

Think of the extra costs as a way to bypass these problems.

But I'm really hesitating wether to buy CBML LE for a second time so soon, when I don't even have YUI's other cd's. CBML LE *sealed* = 5-6 yui singles :P

the website itself is mostly written in Chinese...so if you can read it...it helps..it looks like they can also help you purchase items on yahoo japan auctions too

they accept paypal, visa, etc.

the catch is you need to order your concert goods within a time period that's before/during the tour...i'm not sure if you can order months after the concert itself because from what i heard...

this is what i heard from some guy from HK artunee + I bumped into in Nagano. j-friends actually sends out people to line up at the concert venues to make purchases that were requested by people..so i'm not sure if they buy more and have extras in stock...

for example when i wanted to buy YUI's Budokan concert goods..the concert was on November 19th..i managed to make an order in early December and got the goods...I also ordered from her 2nd Spring & Jump Tour which started in early May 2007..and i ordered in late May....it also took about 1-2 months before my goods arrived...

this guy i bumped into also got his CONCERT TICKET via j-friends...however j-friends does not guarantee that you can get a ticket for sure too...cuz j-friends helped him pre-order tickets and in Japan their ticket system is all lucky/random draw thing....which kinda sucks..

so ur best bet to get the upcoming concert goods is to send them an order as soon as the concert goods are released

but if ur gonna be looking for previous concert goods..yahoo jpn auctions would be the place to go


Magazines
not all online websites have the magazines and they never carry older/back issues...nobody does in Japan -___- other than people who already own them,thus, that leads u back to yahoo japan auctions and other online auctions

the major music magazines ( Barfout, B-PASS, Rockin on in JAPAN, maybe PATiPATi...) you can probably order online from amazon jpn, hmv japan, cdjapan...can't think of any at the moment..but it helps when you know which magazines YUI is featured in so check it up on YUI-net ...cuz some magazines sell fast

A little warning regarding concert goods.

The 1st tour phonestrap with the red guitar-pick as well as the buttons with the words "7Th street" written on it are the only concert goods I've found from that particular tour. They are extremely rare and has a price-tag in excess of 10,000yen.

Here's a picture of the buttons.



Current price on Yahoo Auctions is 9,500yen with the minimum selling price at 12,000yen. That is about USD115.

The site Gotchi mentioned is applicable only for "current tour" goods. They don't have previous tour stuff.



Also, just for some general knowledge...

The most expensive YUI-related stuff on Yahoo Auction is this.


An autograph from YUI gotten after Tomorrow's Way was released, waaaay back in 2005.

2nd most expensive stuff is...

Entire YUI collection including an autographed CBML postcard.

Are they as big as in Japan? I've been to the ones in Shinjuku, man are they big. Bookstores here in Amsterdam are 1/10 of that. But I don't remember them selling Jpop though. I guess only in the US.
