To be honest...I thought that the album was disappointing...
I really liked Evanescence's debut album especially songs like My Immortal, Everybody's Fool and Bring me to Life...but this album I felt sounded like the whole album was jsut one track.

yes evanescence is a "they" not "her" but obviously that guy was trying to refer to Amy Lee, since most of the focus is on her, the band that plays for her is just not as well known.... not saying it's a bad thing, cuz being a musician is not about being famous...

I enjoyed the new album. Although I found that you have to listen to it a few times before you can appreciate it. I'm still not sure whether I like it more or less than the first.

The thing about "The Open Door" is that it sounds alot like their old demo stuff. If you were to listen to their demos, then listen to "The Open Door", you would think they were from the same era.
