In october 27(i think) there's going to be a Guitar Hero World Tour (same as 4). They include drumps and stuff like rock band. I have a Wii and i was going to buy rock band for it but people said that you can't download any music and create you own character so i decided to wait for GH4. Since PS3 and Xbox 360 can go online and download musics I think Wii rock band sucks (also ps2). Just wondering do you like what GH creator is doing?? Copying rock band to have drums and stuff?? So..GH4 or Rock band?? I would get Rock band for PS3 and Wii for GH4. If i have PS3 i wouldn't get GH4.

GH4 drums has 5 keys... but Rock band drums only have 4 keys....
u shud watch the comparison between rock band & GH series on youtube...

& GH is not the one copying Rock band...
Rock band is the one copying GH... they just add the drum & mic...
many of Rock band songs is from GH if u notice...

Well it's hard to compare with GH4 right now since it's not out yet. On paper, it seems GH4's drum is better with the two heightened cymbals.

As for songs, because you have two competing products, there are only so many rock songs they can do. There's bound to be repeats.

And if you're talking about the difficulties between the games, it depends how "hardcore" are you about these rhythm games. I think for playability (of the guitar part at least), Rock Band seems better. Though the drum's medium-to-hard learning curve is quite a big, especially songs with off-beat kickings and alternating hits and kicks. Although I can't imagine GH4's drums to be any different.

I don't have either Guitar Hero or Rockband myself, though I've played a lot of Rock Band at my friend's place. It's fun when you play with friends.

GH4 all the way. Actually GH made the drums before RB but they didnt have enough time to put them in for GH3. Whos ready for the custom song mode?! I want to put some YUI songs in although you cant put vocals in. I guess Rolling Star will be fun to play.

I heard that the people making RockBand are making a japanese version with Japanese songs...I'm not sure...but you would eventually guess this...so i hope there's some YUI songs in that game...but that'll probably mean i'll have to get a japanese console =/

Sweet a Japanese version? Well you could always buy a PS3 because PS3s can play any region's PS3 game, but it might not be that good on PS3. eg. A Japanese Dynasty Warriors 6 can be played on a US PS3. Anyways I hope YUI will be on there, most likely because shes a good recent artist.
