We're all killing the initial purpose of things. This is no exception. Food is food, and nothing more. Why make art out of food when you can make art out of art? Creativity? No? Just doesn't work for me.
We have bumped up the telephone and cellphone contraption to the point where it now even operates as a popcorn cooker-no kidding, there's a video on it. Two years from now we're going to have a little toilet roll dispenser coming off from the side just for the sake of "convenience".
Cars can no longer be called cars because they have such excess crap in them. Last but not least, humans can no longer be called humans because they too have such excess crap in them. Well that part might be a little on the late side for most of us.

F*** I'm so confused! @@ I gotta stop thinking rationally and concentrate more on stuff like this or I'll be lightyears behind. umm i think food art should be a category to answer your question.
i think that cars will be made obsolete as we have transporters that beam us everywhere. While toliets will still be private we are able to use it for energy. Someone will invent a everything in one that caters for everything.
as for the sushi does the chef want people to eat it or not?

i think they want people to eat it. whats the point of making food if it's not going to get eaten...? eat it while it's fresh...haha

it's amazing how Japanese designs things, the style is unique for me..just like Ikebana (flower arrangement) and other types of food.. :good
