I don't know much bout torrents, though I think the problem is with the connection.. I've had experienced a time where the estimated time for download to complete is.. 6 weeks... So I guess it's the connection problem..

urm..may i know what kind of torrents did you use?
well..,i think there's only 2 explanation why your download speed is freaking slow...1,it's maybe because of your connection, and the 2nd is,your torrent option..

Well,i only know a little bit about torrent, and really can't help you. But,try this site.. http://torrentfreak.com/speed-up-bitcomet-and-%C2%B5torrent/

You need to optimize torrent so that your download speed is in maximum rate. So,if you're new in torrent, try to learn more how to increase torrent speed in google.

Like people said, it depends on what you are trying to download and where you are download that from.

torrents are based on each user sending bits and pieces to each other to fulfill the files in the torrent. So if there aren't as many users currently has that torrent active, then you are not going to be able to download as quickly. And if there is no active user that has the torrent completed, then you won't be able to complete your download either (since no one has the complete files).

As for speed, aside from the number of actives users of that torrent, it also depending on your computer and home network settings. If you have a firewall installed on your computer, you will need to make sure that the port number for your torrent program is not blocked. And if you have a home network with a router, you'll need to make sure that the router is set up so the port number from the outside is also forwarded specifically to your computer. If you don't set up these ports properly, then the torrent trackers and other torrent users won't be able to directly communicate with your torrent program and they can't determine how to transfer the files to you.
