I live in Wales, Uk and I would love to go to Japan.

I'm fed up of my stupid country , I wish I lived there, or at least closer.

Because it seems all the people on this forum who have gone to Japan all live quite close to Japan

yup it costs a lot i went with my school (dartford Grammar kent) on a trip with hosts it costs £900 plus £150 so over 1000 in total. it was a 10days.

so its possible but still expensive im sure someone here has an exchange website they can give you so i guess acomodations and maybe food is taken care of.

Alternatively there are some members here in japan you prob could get them to scout the cheapest place for you to be. I think it is cheaper if you dont take a direct flight i had to change in shanghai.

Well probably more than half of that cost is on the plane tickets. They are getting more expensive now than ever before. I know it maybe seem a bit unfair, but you can't help it because you live on the other side of the world. It's just the way it is.

With the recent increase in oil prices...expect the airline industry to increase the price of flights..kinda inevitable isn't it?
