Sorry for the newbie question, but I noticed that the 'G' tabbed in the intro is different from the 'G' that I've learnt which goes like this:

3
0
0
0
2
3

Actually, it's very similar, just that the B string (I think? I still have the habit of reading the wrong way round every now and then) is left open in the version I've learned but not in the posted version.

Could someone please explain the difference between the two? And is the version to be used in the rest of the song the same as the one posted in the intro?

Cheers.

im a noob and i stumble at some parts in TOKYO even-.- and not good wit e strumming, keep cant get it. but i think by adding the finger at 3rd fret of B string it makes the note higher in the intro. but thru the song it should be the normal G the:

3
0
0
2
3

YuIhOlIxX - July 26, 2008 12:59 PM (GMT)
ehm...
i know....
in yui ver. don't play with complete song...

but i think play with complete ver . G more
nice than not complete

Thanks for the chords! :D

But I was just wondering, could anyone explain roughly how the strumming pattern goes?

xzsnorexz - July 30, 2008 05:31 PM (GMT)
For Intro, its (down down down) down up, (down down down) down up, (down down) up , down. X 2

Note : each comma denotes a chord change.

for the ( ) down strums focus more on the 6th,5th,4th strings to sound the bass and leave the down up focusing more on the 1st,2nd,3rd strings for the brighter tones. you need to catch the tempo yourself, just listen to the song while you play, shldn't be difficult. good luck.

Thanks xzsnorexz! :clap

I shall try that when I'm practicing today. :D
