Well, I've been feeling bad about downloading YUI's music, since shes a great artist. I got into her music when BLEACH's OP popped up ROLLING STAR, then I went from LIFE and then on. I'm starting to want to buy her music, just because I want to support her as much as many can, I mean, DUDE, $8 for a single or $25 or less for an album. Now my question, should I get the Albums or Singles? I mean I have no problem with both, but the singles are good with instrumentals and an extra song(Plus the fact that you get different cover art), while albums have a 1/3 of what shes made in it(I don't know if they have intrumentals, I am sorry).

You dun have to buy them all at one go. Why not split it up? Like you could buy your favourite singles/albums first. Then save more money and then continue buying the others.

It all depends on how "hardcore" you are and how deep your pockets go. If you're not earning money, then it's best to stick to albums. It contains all the main songs from the singles. You'll only be missing out the 'B' side songs, the acoustic versions and the instrumentals.

Also, the singles cost over 10USD and with about 11 singles release and 3 albums so far, it'll be about 200USD in total without shipping. Like what Sasuke, erm, I mean UchihaMel, said, don't rush into it and buy a few at a time. YesAsia still has all the old singles for sale. Only the limited editions are gone.

If i were you people, i would BUY EVERYTHING.

Get her albums first. If you can, get the Limited edition of CBML and ILY. You'll get a DVD with both, the CD+DVD is a little more expensive than the CD only, but worth it, I think. If you don't care for music videos then get the CD only version, so you can save up money (not much though). I still think albums are better, they have more songs and contain all the A-side songs from the singles.
YUI has great B-sides and the acoustic versions/instrumentals are great extras, so I understand that you want to buy all the singles ...^^ You can still save up, or listen to them on the internet and decide which ones you like the best. I do the same thing, I have all three of her albums and only one single, but now I'm saving up and trying to get my most favorites ;)

Albums albums first. Still...I have bought all YUI's singles after CBML. You'd have to buy online to get older singles...and I don't like begging my parents for stuff. (unless its xmas or my birthday haha)

well there are some songs you can only get from the singles so i'd say get both

If I were in Japan, I would buy all of her singles and albums.

But, as I live live far away from Japan, I only buy her albums. Buying her singles every 3-4 months would be bothersome, and really expensive.

I'm really sorry, YUI... I would like to buy the singles, but 20€ per single is not worth...

With as many singles as YUI has out now, I'd say go for the albums first.

Because then you can be occupied with them while you wait on the singles. :clap

If you really want to support YUI all the way, buy all her albums and singles!

Well, I recommend you get her albums. I'm a new YUI fan, so I don't have her first two yet myself, but I plan to buy them ASAP.

As for singles ... well, you already have the files, so you could buy the singles you enjoy most? I do that with Hamasaki Ayumi, since I can't afford to buy all of her singles.

I guess the bottom line is just buy what you enjoy. Don't stress and buy everything unless you really want to.
