i actually found it better than i thought it would be. Im not all that into the popish sound but it has grown on me.

however i still find from me to you better. its more 'YUI' in a sense. It was her first album and it was like she put her soul into it. I was soooo obessed when she released it. im sure most of the older members were like this too. Then the long wait due to taiyou no uta which made us listen to it more so it grows on us even more.

second albums are generally never better than the first. Cant buy my love was fresh but not really my style as YUI isn't a hard rocker.

I think overall.. ILY is better than the previous 2 album..
Even though the single in this album is definitely weaker than the previous albums.. the other songs can cover this weakness.. overall.. a good album with "all good" songs.

I love all the albums, because everyone of them is unique, but I think her latest album is the best..for me, have a combination of the previous ones..a little of FMTY and CBMYL.. :clap

I like I Loved Yesterday more than Can't Buy My Love. From Me To You is still her best album though.

I only really got into the YUI-ism last year after Rolling Star and CHE.R.RY so gotta support CBML. For individual tracks, LIFE is pretty much my favourite song. I wouldn't say that FMTY is the strongest album though. In a whole, ILY is probably the most solid one even though individually, the tracks probably can't match some of her best songs yet(LIFE, TOKYO, CHE.R.RY, Good-bye Days, I Remember You...).

FMTY wins slightly overall for me just by a bit lol..FMTY had this rawness and unplugged YUI-ness to it. i agree with pandas, FMTY was the album which YUI seemed to have poured her own soul into the most...she proved that she's capable to be in the music industry in her own style...this is the album that started it all and probably when i first became a fan so this album holds a special place in my lifetime ...the album had a different range of songs compared to CBML + ILY

CBML was interesting, she experimented around and it wasn't too bad..i thought her singles from this album were probably the best singles she's released....i kept playing this album all year long

ILY is a very well packaged album. i can see why YUI thinks this is probably one of her best works. cuz it is pretty darn good. all the songs stand on their own...at first i had trouble remember the melodies of the songs and i would forget the names (which really wasn't a problem with her previous works)...however after a few more listens..i love it even more... ILY was really the album where YUI showcased more of her skills....though compared to FMTY this one sounded and felt a bit more "manufactured" SLIGHTLY...b/c all the songs were so equal..there wasn't enough contrast for me to really appreciate one song more than the other i think..cuz they were all so good to listen to

ah i love all of them....there's always a song by YUI that fits my mood LOL....

well can't buy my love gains popularity a lot....and her songs there is really good....and i loved yesterday is also very popular...and i like this album....i like both....well i think all japanese people luvs her song....on i loved yesterday..esp..can't buy my luv...coz i think yui's songs is different from the others....and she's popular now.....and i luv her new songs now....and also can't buy my luv songs...well her new album is great coz she puts a lot of effort on it.......

I can't choose. All of YUI's songs/albums/singles...if I don't "get" (as in understand) them, then they grow on me over time. So...I don't have a favourite. I checked all of them.

CAN'T BUY MY LOVE is the best album for me :suki

Hmm it's pretty hard to decide which is my favorite... FROM ME TO YOU was which made me fall in love with her, also, it has three of my most favorite songs ever (LIFE, Tomorrow's way, TOKYO) and some of my most favorite YUI album tracks (Blue wind, Swing of lie, Merry.Go.Round). At the same time, this album has my least favorite YUI songs too (I can't say, I know, Spiral & Escape) - but overall, it was excellent for a debut album.

CAN'T BUY MY LOVE had fantastic singles and I absolutely loved the whole album after the second listening (which is pretty rare to me, it always takes me 5-6 listenings to get into something). I never understood why people said that it was a rock album, it had only like three rock songs (Rolling star, RUIDO, Highway chance), but the others were kind of similar in style to her usual works (I mean Why?, Winding road, It's all right and Thank you My teens were all very YUI & acoustic-like songs). It was my most listened album of 2007 and I have lots of good memories to it, so it's a very important album to me.

I LOVED YESTERDAY is a little different from her first two albums. It took me more listens to completely appreciate it, I think it lacks variety a bit, but overall the album flows better than CBML. It also lacks great singles, I love Namidairo and really like My Generation (and really dislike LOVE & TRUTH >.<), but they're nowhere near to the quality of the singles from her previous albums. Fortunately, the album tracks mostly made up for it, and it's also a great that her voice is getting better and better, it's quite amazing how she sings Love is all.

I also voted for all 3 albums. I think I like CAN'T BUY MY LOVE a little more than the other two, but still, all of them are special to me. :)

I LOVE "I LOVED YERTERDAY". It's fresh, it's rockish and mellow... It conbines the best of her previous works. I totally like it, since the first play. That's why I chose it.

Well, when i first listened to I LOVED YESTERDAY, i wasn't too into it, instead a LITTLE TINY TINSY WINSY BIT disappointed because it was really "rock-ish" but then i tried to listen to it a few more times, then suddenly, i don't know why, i'm actually addicted to the songs. Now everytime i turn on my ipod all i listen is the whole album of ILY.
As for Can't Buy My Love, i love it a lot as well. Especially when each song have its own style. It has a lot of catchy songs in CBML.
Finally From Me To You, i had to choose this album as my least favourite because there are songs that i don't really like in the album. of course, i love every single song that YUI composes and writes, but if you force me to choose, it would be this album.

so basically, my favourite album so far is I LOVED YESTERDAY! never really thought i would actually like this album THIS MUCH!

for me..ILY is the best album compare to her previous albums. YUI really did her best in this album. The arrangements are good and the songs really show what YUI really are..but still all her albums are the best! :good

YUI should do more of those acoustic/pop/country songs rather than rock songs cos her voice is too cute for that. And yes, i think from me to you is better... as in it matches her style. Though i like CBML more... I haven't heard of ILY yet...

obviously you can't do that. and his is simply picking a "more liked" album out of 3...

in the first place, why are you YUI fans? isn't it because you prefer YUI over some other artists even tough they are of different musical genre?...

we shouldn't be so much of a bias... just because we are YUI fans, it doesn't mean that we should like all her songs and albums... i think one way or another, you prefer an album over her other albums...

I'm surprised to see ILY is leading in the poll. In other forums everyone's complaining about how it's not as good as her other albums.
Well, I chose ILY because the songs suit the style of music I like more, I like more poppish kind of songs.

From Me To You is her best album. I Loved Yesterday is a good album but isn't as good as i expected! I still don't know if Can't Buy My Love is better than I Loved Yesterday, still not sure...

if i compare the three albums based on the singles then i think ILdY must be the weakest and CBML is the strongest..
but if it's about the WHOLE albums then i just simply counted how many tracks i REALLY like from each albums and the results are FMTY (7 songs), CBML (9 songs), ILdY (11 songs)..
ILdY > CBML > FMTY
