For a whole month or so, I totally lost my inspiration in guitar and this band brought it back. I was into Asian Kung-Fu Generation's stuff until I got tired of overplaying all their songs. Found STRAIGHTENER later after listening to the Synchronized Rockers album. If anyone got time, you should go check it out. It's a Tribute album for The Pillows.

Anyways. Straightener's songs are pretty easy to ear-tab. I have done so successfully with Killer Tune and that revived my faith in guitar again. Then later got destroyed when a teacher of mine said "whats so special about playing guitar? everybody plays it." =O :shock

Well. Just check out Straightener if you haven't before. Their style is very similar to Asian Kung-Fu Generation. My all-time favorite band. Also, the singer for Straightener is friend with the singer from Asian Kung-Fu Generation and Ellegarden.

what?ur teacher really said that?oh..........how sad....they should encourage us to play any kinds of instruments not like that....but i think that's normal for them coz i think she or he haven't realized the significance of playing guitar.......

out of all the j-rock bands i listen to, they have the best balance and guitar/bass tones. my favourite is discography.
