Yep. Koyuki is awesome. LOL. Maho is cool too although she seems to be a bit too crazy at times. It's kind of funny how they're together because they're complete opposites of one another.

My friend told me about this anime because he knew I love guitars.. lol. Gosh, there's lots of nice guitar scenes... Fender, Gibson, Martin, Gretsch, Epiphone... and PRS guitars (in the manga) *drools*

I only read the manga.. still following it until now~
Never read the anime because some said that the anime isn't as good as the manga.. but i like the anime soundtrack, especially "HIT IN AMERICA" by Beat Crusaders..

i watch and read both. the ost's were pretty good. too bad the anime was just for a season. can't wait to see devil's way either, with the mustang.

hey i've watched it...beck....well it's great... maho is kind a....i don't know...and i like the songs of this anime.....and koyuki's acoustic guitar is fender like yui's guitar brand...

anyways BECK is pretty cool and the song slip out is awesome!
i spent so much time playing it and singing

seeing YUI's nice apple red one and watching the anime makes me want to buy a tele

Actually i just started watching this anime... im on episode 11 right now... (I'm still downloading it... eventhough it's illegal because it's already liscenced..)

i've watched it too.. BECK is a really cool anime.. i love how Koyuki developed from a guitar newbie into a cool guitarist and singer..
the soundtracks are great too.. my fave tracks are 'Moon on The Water', 'Slip Out', 'Face' and 'Hit in The USA'..

Ah.. I keep forgetting that 'Baby Star' is 'Brightest' by Husking Bee.

I was wonder what 'Genki wo Dashite' was.... then I youtubed it.. lol. It's jpop song that Koyuki liked before meeting BECK. :) That song has a nice ring to it too.

where does title "baby star" come from??? because the real title is brightest, right?

i got addicted to "FOLLOW ME" the one that they'd perform at the festival with saitou and the oldies. i keep listening to it everytime i open my music player.LOL

In the manga, the song is called 'Baby Star'.

'Follow Me' is a really catchy song. I play it on my guitar at home, and skip around the house while playing my guitar, lol.

anyway, this is probably among my top favorite animes along with dbz, flcl, naruto, princess mononoke, sprited away, cowboy bebop, trigun, wolf's rain, etc..

i've actually heard word that they're in produciton of making a second season for the anime (which would be incredibly awesome).. i think they're just waiting a bit longer until they have enough material from the manga..

also, compared to the English verion of the anime, the Japanese version, of course, wins by a landslide.. i just think the English version butchers it.. :angry

and yep, a lot of great music in here: BEAT CRUSADERS, the pillows, even the use of talented vocalists for the voices (Orange Range), not to forget plugs for legendary musicians and artists (Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, the Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc...)

any music lover (and beginning guitar hobbyist) would definitely dig this anime!
