How do you strum the D/F# when you there are two strings in between you aren't supposed to hit?

@kosukesanjt: I meant to put 2x0232 hahaha.... Press D as normal and use yr thumb to press the bass of F#, wrap yr thumb around the neck so that it mutes the 5th string as well. Actually u can play both of the strings open. Just that I don't want the sound of the A open note of 5th string to interfere with the F# bass note. I'll change my post :P
