Hey everyone! a few of us are going to be in/traveling to Japan in May-June! and we want to plan an outing! i was personally not ready for this and it kinda just impulsively happened and I started planning to go to Japan earlier this month. and now.....
....I am going to be in Japan from May 28th-June 15th. I am staying at a homestay place in Chiba which is 40 min or so away from Tokyo. (I will also be in Hong Kong May 21-27th..so whoever is in Hong Kong let's meet too!!)
I am planning to watch YUI's 32nd Street 3rd June 08 (Tuesday) concert @ Oomiya Sonic City in Saitama, Japan!
I am actually waiting to see if I get tickets by next week. If I can't get tickets, I am considering one of these dates where I know another YL member is going to
26th Street 18th May 08 (Sunday) Kanagawa Kenmin Hall in Yokohama
and/or
28th Street 23rd May 08 (Friday) Nagano
This means i might change my airline tickets earlier! so I will update in about week if I receive tickets or not!

It's not too hard to get the ticket if you're living in Japan, but you'll need a decent Japanese skill so you can use online ticket websites. try these website:

TicketPIA http://t.pia.jp/
Lawson Ticket http://l-tike.com/
All of these services will need a living address, Mobile no. in Japan, and someone who can do payment for the ticket in Japan. I recommend to use e+ since there is no entrance fee, and sometimes you can pre-order the ticket from e+ (even you're not YUI's Official Fanclub member!!). But there are no 100% guaranteed method that you'll get the ticket. So what happens is people who preordered within the 'pre-order times' e+ provides gets put into a lottery and drawn randomly and be sent an notification about receiving the pre-orders. thus, there is not guarantee you'll get the tickets >___<
*sighs* so i gotta wait for a week to see if i'm lucky

Anyway, I am pretty much a foreigner in Japan so the few of us (depyon + artunee) are planning to have an OUTING in Japan!
Even if you can't get YUI tickets...come visit Japan anyway! there's a lot to see and they have such a rich culture
We're posting this a few months ahead so maybe for those you can travel and come out for fun can start planning with us so we set a day or two to go around the city and hang out.
If you're low on cash, try going to Hostels instead of going to Hotels they can go as low as $30 CDN per night. Or maybe try homestay. i went to this website (www.homestayweb.com) and i've talked with my homestay family online (though I had to pay a $10 CDN fee to speak/contact with them). There are other sites to visit too or you can try through school programs too but I'm not sure where to find them yet, so your friend, Google can help you there.
I think homestay is cheaper and you can get more outta the culture vs staying in a hotel room maybe but who knows!
Plane tickets are pricey so that's why we wanna try and plan this a bit earlier so people can start working for some extra cash...
