I just saw this drink called POCARI SWEAT from a commercial..I didn't mind it at first..but when I watch TnU again from my newly bought DVD..I recognize that the drink they used there is the same..POCARI SWEAT too..(I think I should buy one and try it lol..) =O

ahah yea they sell Pocari Sweat here too but it's really expensive...cuz they import it..but i hear it's dirt cheap in Hong Kong...

it's like an energy drink almost..tastes a bit weird at first but i like it now..it has this tangy taste and yea this drinks really for re-supplying ions and water that you lose from exercising or whatever...

the name throws people off cuz it has the name "sweat" in it haha

oo, we have this in malaysia... saw them in food courts ... haha

haha..true..i felt the same..i thought it's a weird drink too because they included SWEAT in the name..at least i have an idea what it tastes like..

Hahaha... I used to drink Pocari sweat all the time~ Now I swap to Pokka Sports Water... They are 'non-flavoured' non-carbonated isotonic drinks, unlike Gatorade. So it's more like a non-carbonated version of 100 plus or H20...

But here in south east asia, our pocari sweat comes in round bottles, although I managed to buy the square bottle version from local Japanese Super Market. They even have mini 250 ml or so bottles... very cute...

I'll buy them and show you guys the photos if I pass by the super market in the future...

edit: Oh yeah, like Gatorade, they come in powdered form too. It's part of my army field ration when I was a recruit... Think they've changed to something else now...

if you go to One Utama...there's this newly opened shop that sells japanese stuff on ground floor near genki sushi...they sell the big bottled ones...
Isetan sells them too...but tin can ones...
