I would say every Christian usually knows about Hillsongs and/or United Live or have heard at least one of their songs.. lol. I still prefer their softer tunes like Hosanna, Mighty to Save, Always, Take All of Me, More than life etc. I think their best 'fast' song would be Free.

Hillsong is coming for a Canada tour starting May 21st. They'll have a concert in Toronto at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on August 29th and 30th for anyone interested. :)

heh, i've been listening to christan music as long as i can remember. Jars of Clay, delirious?, Sixpence None the Richer, dc Talk, Newsboys, Switchfoot, Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W Smith, Carman... the list never seem to end, haha.

my old classmate's older sister was actually singing in the choir in Hillsong before. :P

back in 1999 i was at a 24 hour event in the Globe in Stockholm called 'Rock the Globe' where they had seminars, worship and of course concerts. Youth Alive were there playing and some other pretty big guys i can't remember. and to finish it off, delirious?! :D i was at the front and Martin Smith actually looked at me when he sang one time. i don't remember that much from the concert, but it was pretty overwhelming. especially since i was only 12 years old. :P

i don't play for the church band unless its with a song by Hillsong

the stuff is just awesome

^ Well for me, as a Christian, I don't download. Your argument about "spreading the Gospel" isn't wrong but it's also how you do it and if you would, during that process, defame or deglorify God. You don't want non-Christians saying that "Oh so that's what Christians do" and by doing so, hinder them from hearing/accepting the Gospel - that's worse.

But yea...that being said, I haven't looked into the subject much. Although it's a public taboo (even those "everyone" downloads..), I hear it's illegal to UPLOAD in Canada, but not DOWNLOAD. In USA, it's ILLEGAL both ways - in other countries...no idea.

I listened to Yui's song on YouTube before Sony tore everything down but I still refused to download despite my "love" for Yui. So yea when my bro went to HK he bought me her albums so I have it legitimately. The P2P sharing is a separte issue...




Back to Topic: Anyways yea - I don't download Christian Music either but instead, I listen to a Christian Radio. Mark Schultz, Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Hillsong (United), Starfield, and many others! Praise to God!
