I'm looking for the guitar tone from the solo in Happy Birthday to you you!

Anybody's setup sounds like that or knows the way to that sound? What amp does the trick? Strat/Tele/LP? Is it Neck single coil? Any overdrive or effects?

I know it's almost impossible to twin a tone, but still my current setup (cheap strat copy and a brandless amp) is far away from the sound I like. I just want to get closer to that sound on my next upgrade, which is soon!

It's also stressful to test too many guitars in shops, I wonder if any of you feel the same haha...

I'm almost certain that Fuzz Face does the trick.
I tried the solo using my brother's '72 strat with the pickup in the neck position, connected to the fuzz face and out through a gibson amp, though the amp does make the sound abit twangy. But the tone sounded pretty close to the recording

I haven't tried fuzz before, maybe i should head down to the shops and try...
