Maybe you can try Bus Romance by Chatmonchy?
The solo is very catchy! It's also pretty easy and longer than Jam. Actually I learnt it just after I picked up Jam haha..
This
Bus Romance cover on Youtube helped me in my learning.
If you like Chatmonchy, maybe you can join the
Chatmonchy Forum run by EndtoInfinity930 and Roxy36! There are tabs there for their songs.
Enjoy playing!

rolling star solo quite simple, but rather boring XD
u can try tomorrow's way on the accoustic, quite challenging but sounds really good...
for more "sophisticated" stuff check out Oasis, their solos are relatively simple (using pentatonics and lots of bends) but they sound very "british" - <don't look back in anger> has one of those solos, with lots of lead guitar riffs here and there, gives space for improv
benzwong: yeah chatmonchy! their songs are generally quite easy to learn and Bus Romance's solo sounds uber cute XD
Shangrila, Tsumasaki and Koi no Kemuri are also worth a try
