We have decided to include 21 songs, since it is YUI's 21st birthday. The whole CD is designed by dear nataliejwong.

Every YL is included in this second collaboration because each member's covers/songs sounded great in their own unique and creative way. Plus, we wanted variety on the CD, so it gives diversity when listening to the songs.

Although there was some "judging" involved, the songs are NOT ordered in any ranking, though the first cover was deliberately chosen to be YUI's latest single, Namidairo, and the last cover was chosen to be Happy birthday to you you for YUI's upcoming birthday.

Below you will find our comments about each song, as well as a download link beside the song name. There's also a complete zip package for those who wants the entire collection. All the tracks have been slightly volume adjusted so you don't have to keep changing volumes for each song.

• CCDDSS did a very good job with the vocal, though there are some spots that are slightly out of sync
• Best rhythm guitar strumming among the Namidairo entries that closest match YUI's version
• Synthesized strings adds a nice touch.

• Rhythm (acoustic) guitar has compliments vocals nicely
• Guitar can be slightly softer so it won't overpower the vocals

oo interesting design!..k the pattern design reminds me of Windows Vista LOL but i like the simplicity and u chose a similar typeface to her online Tour websites which makes it look consistent and creates that relationship!

interesting cluster with the text as well..though it's stepping a bit

hmm...what colors are u leaning towards anyway? complementary ones? kuler is quite awesome..a bunch of us use it...but i still struggle with deciding over 5 whole colors...

with ur design it looks like it can handle 3 or 5 colors plus the layering would create another color....anyway i guess it depends what our intention is...

the design itself looks pro and captures ppl's attention but did we also want to use particular colors to kinda jump out?

grays work nice with the white and the light/almost lime green..or purple..

anyway i've been up for 23 hrs..and i am gonna return to my film contest x__X

Yeah the design at first gave me the impression of Windows Vista also. But since Natalie is a Mac-Lover, I doubt we'll be going that route.

Downloaded a couple of the songs, I'd have to say that Kitsy X tsunav86's 'JAM' definitely jumped out (it's so scary how much her voice resembles YUI's <-- not that it's a bad thing!l) :shock

I also really liked Prissi X arnoldnicolas' 'Blue Wind', it's definitely worth more than one listen =)

@Samart: Yes, I played the piano. The piano was played/arranged by me, the rest of the instruments were all recorded/arranged/mixed together by Arnoldo, and I did the final mix, with vocals + bgv.

And Kitsy really does sound scarily like YUI. Dare I say she has even better control of those high notes than YUI does?

Yeah benzwong's From Me To YUI deserves full marks. Apart from the excellent lyrics, remix of the songs, he sings really well too.

I realized when that time will be. will I really get to meet and know YUI-san as a person and not an idol? my ultimate dream (aside from going to Japan and being free). wish that YUI-san will understand the lyrics. because it's really touching. I realy wish I had written that song. well I made something like that, very close.

I commend benzwong for the excellent lyrics and creativity of fusing the chords and melody of YUI-san's songs. and the ones he chose are my favorite songs. the more I liked it.

My current favourites are
1. From Me to YUI: Love the composition making use of YUI's songs, and of course the meaningful lyrics! Very soothing too!
2. Blue wind: Beautiful singing! Introducing piano is very interesting, but piano pace might be a little too fast in the verse. Still, the combination between vocalist and instrument is really great!
3. Jam: Sounds really like YUI haha! The little introduction in the beginning is pretty nice. The guitar sounds nice, but a little too complicated to me. The guitar solo part is amazing though!

haha it was my violin's tuning. i tuned my violin differently, i forgot to tune it back because i had to tune my violin to the piano at church. :( i think i was too lazy to re-record it again =)
