... did that catch Snake's attention? ok, good :clap haha

My friend suggested this awhile ago to me, it's a French comedy movie, features Jean Reno. And like Snake, Jean loves the wasabi, possibly more than him? :o (a challenge :'D).

Anywho, the movie is filled with hilarity, and I highly suggest it to those who need/want a good laugh. Two particular scenes had me in crutches, don't wanna spoil anything though. If you're into Japanese culture a little (or a lot), that'll also assist in enjoying the movie.

Interesting to see Japanese people in the film speak French, especially the main female actor.

For those who haven't seen it though, this isn't exactly a new movie, not that it matters :P.

Dude! Am I now synonymous with Wasabi now?

Jean Reno, eh? He's a pretty good actor. Maybe that alone makes the movie worth watching.

Wasabi!
haha.. what a coincidence..
it's a similar title to MY's local manga that is showing on 'GEMPAK' magazine. but the movie and the manga have totally DIFFERENT story line and characters.

hmm.. Jean Reno, eh? sounds like it's worth watching. yeah..

Wasabi is a chop suey movie. I saw it on french tv. The story is like incredible and the script is very bad. It's just a movie for entertaining young people, and people who like Japan. Hirosue Ryôko (the girl in the movie) did a good job in french, but she learn all by hear, with MD discs with the dialogue in it, provided by the productor (Luc Besson, who contacted Hirosue for the movie).
And... Hirosue was born the same year as me... yeah... one more... :hee (so, she is obaachan too...)
