Title: Ducky is going to Japan!
Description: and SG ;)

rubberduck - February 25, 2008 02:27 AM (GMT)
So I have finally managed to organise a trip to Japan after the unfortunate cancellation of my trip planned last year.

I'll be flying into Narita on 18th of March, and staying in Tokyo for a couple of days before catching the Shinkansen down to Osaka. At the moment, I'm planning about 5 days in and around Osaka before heading back to Fuji-san, Hakone, Yokohama, then back to Tokyo.

My dad will be celebrating his 60th birthday in Japan, so any suggestions around Tokyo would be appreciated. :)

I have plans to stay a couple of nights in Ryoukan but mostly in hostels.

All up, I'll be in Japan for 16 days. Flying out on the 3rd of April, arriving in SG at 01:15am Friday 4th of April.

So... If anyone is around Japan and wants to be my tour guide... Let me know!

Kabukicho, the Red Light District of Tokyo in the Shinjuku area. Hahaha Pretty close to the train station as well so it's quite accessible.

ah i think i passed by there while on the train some years back... lots of pachinko shops and love hotels lol.

i've heard of this shop called Book Off in Harajuku that sells 2nd hand, good quality CDs for a fraction of the original price. Might be able to find that elusive "It's Happy Line" single ^^

anyone has any idea if there's any YUI/chatmonchy/asian kung-fu generation live performances during the period 10-13 April? and how to get tickets. =x
