Abingdon Boys School. same band setup and similar use of effects. more like old lp though.

Closest Japanese band I've come across that sounds like Linkin Park would the band: BACK-ON

One of their songs, named "NEW WORLD" has a resemblance to "Faint" as well, so it should be what you're looking for.

They also did an OP for the Air Gear anime.

@Riyu October3, I don't really agree... buri guri's stuff are kind of random and mainly stick with acoustic sort of songs but with an edge and not really hip-hoppy like Linkin Park is. Though I do highly recommend them to people...

try the band Dir en Grey. they are somewhat metalcore/ nu-metal/ alternative rock band.. Kyo (the lead vocalist) screams and sings so beautifully (like Chester)! =P no emcee though... they style changes in every album so they are a sort of a little experimental band.
