when i download files with firefox, i always place the files on my desktop, recently when i download them, i find that the file doesn't appear. i dunno why was this triggered.

now i have to personally go to the desktop folder to retrieve my file.

i know it sounds ambiguos, but hopefully u guys knows what i'm talking abt.

any idea what caused this and how do i set it back to default?

aiyaaa i had this a while ago too, the downloads wouldnt show up and i couldnt watch the download progress either, Im not sure how i fixed it but maybe reinstalling firefox will help

Do you mean it is automatically saving them there and closing the download window?

Try clicking "Tools > Options" under "Downloads", check your settings and make sure they are how you want them.

Although I am not sure I completely understand the problem.. Hope this helps ^__^
