okay... well im bored and i have an idea..
this is how is goes...
I love writing lil stories... but im always blank on how to finish them
its always and i have a good intro... i have a idea on whats gonna happen.. and even an end to the story..
but always while im writing i lose inspiration after 1 or 2 chapters..
so i though why not have all the members write a story?!?
so guys im asking for a lil help.. and it can also be a lil game..
here are the rules:
1. It has to follow the topic/theme/setting/ and storyline - so if the topic is like post modern times you can say like they took a time machine and went to the future. Or say that someone has super powers without backing it up with a reason or a story..
2. Maximum of main characters: to keep away from tangents.. i wanna limit too much main characters.. im thinking a max of 2-3 main characters... but we always start out with 1 main character and develop other supporting characters.. now we can have as much supporting characters as long as it doesn't go out of bounds
3. 1 paragraph per post: each member can add only one paragraph per post (max of 8 - 10 sentences) now you dont have to add a whole paragraph you can add less but try to limit yourself to 1 paragraph (unless you have something really important to add that requires more paragraphs)
4. 8 - 10 paragraphs per chapter: I think if we do this we can keep our story better on track, so if ur posting close to the end of the chapters try to wrap the chapter up. (leaving cliff hangers, ending dialogue, ect.
5. No double posting: unless the story hasnt been written for like a week then you can double post.
6. Extra story rules: there might be extra story rules that are included in the plot explanation

so thats the rules and heres the story
Theme: modern times/sci fi
Setting: Mid-size city in a pre-apocalyptic time
Story Outline: Zach, A young Asian boy, 17, living in the United States. The boy is Japanese decent and is born in the US. The country is also currently at war with Japan (reasons unknown). The boy is face with racism and dealing with other issues as the country is at a paranoid state.
The war itself is currently fought in Japan on foreign soil and is being called one of the worst wars in the world. All other countries serve no alliance with either Japan or the US as they are on the verge of biological warfare.
The boy lives at home with his parents, goes to school and works part time at the local
Walmart Superstore.
Plot: Zach and his family are very concerned about the war as they watch the news that the US is planing a biological strike on Japan (Hiroshima like attack but worst...). At work Zach faces racism from his coworkers. The majority of the ignorance is from the 30 yrs old and up workers and other younger workers... however he does have a few understanding younger coworkers and one older manager, Yoshi, who is also Japanese.
Its starts out as a regular day for Zach as he goes to work. It is early in the morning on a Saturday. 4 hours into work there is a loud explosion, everything goes black. Everyone is confused on the situation.
further into the story:
They find out that there is a chemical explosion and the air outside is poisoned (a few people found out the hard way) Now Zach is trapped inside the Walmart Superstore with his coworkers and a few customers. Zach and the group of people must fight to survive the disaster and the disaster within the store. The store has no electricity, and no running water (at least not something you can drink or put on your body)

Story Rules: No super powers, but you can have mutant people if u wanna spice up the story
now for the people that dont know what The Walmart Superstore is, I provided the link to the website. The store pretty much has everything you need to live and a lot more extras. Food, Shelter, Clothes, Electronics, even hunting gear like shot guns and rifles. The store if fully stocked and a group of people can last up to 2 - 3 months in the store just on food alone, but remember there is no refrigeration since the power went out.
okay... enough babbling lets start THE UNLIMITED STORY!!!!

Chapter 1 - Walk into the exploding city
"Zach wake up sweety."
A familiar voice calls out to Zach as he wakes from the couch next to his parents.
"The News is on, Son" His father spoke in a deep tone as he taps on Zach's shoulder.
Zach gets up from a puddle of his own drool and watches the TV. A semi bald and sweaty reporter announces the updates on the war.
"The war is currently at a point of no return as President Obama announces that attack is underway, Japanese Prime Minister..."
Zach gets up and heads towards his room disappointed after hearing the news.
