I've been wondering (and questioning) this for a long while now but haven't been able find any clear conclusion... so, I definitely want to hear all your thoughts on this!! :D
You know in the chorus for "feel my soul" when YUI says "scare little boy"... well, I don't know about any of you but to me it doesn't exactly sound like she is saying "scare little boy." It sounds more on the lines of something like "scare you boy."
I started thinking that maybe YUI was saying "scare lil boy" but I realized that it definitely doesn't sound like "lil" but more like "you". But, if is "you"... then how does that translate (or relate) to "little"? :huh:

well.. i've always thought that she was saying "Scare[d] little boy" but after looking at the lyrics... i guess i was wrong.. i don't really think she's saying "scare you boy" cause it wouldn't make much sense.. plus im positive that shes saying sometime along the lines of "scare little boy"

Yes,I also doubt about this line.
I think YUI may be using the wrong form of the word.
It's more make sense to have 'SCARED',instead of 'SCARE'
YUI sometimes makes some grammatical mistakes,like 'Tomorrow never knows' in "It's happy line''.This sentence should be in passive voice,I think.

I have no more to say since I agree to frozenray and mono. :) I think its just a grammar mistake. It should be SCARED.
YUI needs to improve her english no matter what. But actually I'm a lil confused why no one in YUI team realize this grammar mistake....
But I like the way she's singing 'Scare little boy' :)

I translated the phrase as 'Scared Little Boy.' I'm surprised nobody noticed this. :P
The Japanese don't check their English outside of professional business very much. English is very much used in a catch-phrase style in Japan. People care little for what is actually said, so long as it is said in English. To heck with grammar and what not. English just sounds cool. Trust me: go to Japan and you'll see all these people wearing their English shirts that say some of the most amazingly ridiculous and hilarious phrases. :)

hmmmm..... then, you're probably all right in that YUI is saying "scared little boy". And, I can hear the "scared" but I still can't hear the "little" part...
It's like in the b-side "Last Train" where the last lyric in the chorus says "I feel the distance with you" but YUI is singing something more like "I feel the distant with you". So, even though she ish't singing the word "distance," its still pretty close.
But that is not the case with "scare little boy" where I can't seem to hear anything remotely close to the word "little". :huh:

yeah.. i totally noticed that too... ahh well... we can't expect her to speak perfect, or even near-perfect english... kinda off topic.. but has everyone seen Gwen Stefani's Holla Back Girl video?? lol.. her japanese in it is hilarious... "SUPER KAWAII!!".. lol.. that totally made me laugh.. it was soo bad.. XD

It's normal for a person to make mistakes, especially if its not their native language. The pronounciation of the part Your Right, sounding like Your Light, its because the sometimes the Japanese pronunciation of the letter "R" tends to sound like the letter "L". Also when using Katakana when writing words since the Japanese doesn't have an "L" syllable it is replaced by an "R".
