The most concentrated place would be Sino Centre in Mong Kok
the price there is higher, though still lower than HMV (yes, you can find the CDs in HMV here too)
the cheapest shop I know so far is in C. C. Wu Building in Wan Chai, but it is more difficult to get to that place
Oriental 188 in Wan Chai is a place you can find second-hand or sample CDs at a low price
ppl say that the sound quality of HK version is lower than Japan version, but HK version is half the price of Japan one, and basically their contents are the same, e.g. the HK version of TYMT DVD also has the sticker

hmm i didnt know about the sound quality difference...i just know that the print quality of the case covers and whatnot are not as strong and crisp..and the colors a bit off..... and besides that you'd also find some sort of HK or chinese characters on the back

Wow thanks..i've searched those places on the net..^^..i'm really excited..maybe i should decide what to buy when we get there (either the japan or hk version, but it will probably be hk version coz it's cheaper? Let's see..) Are there shops there that sell mangas? I want the taiyou no uta one!!! :clap
mono - January 8, 2008 12:43 PM (GMT)
You can find shops selling mangas and japanese magazines in Sino Centre and Oriental 188
but it may not be easy to find taiyou no uta manga now as it has been issued some time ago and I don't think those shops still have it in stock
