Mu nickname is Fugitivo, I chose it when I registered here, but now I would want to change it to Manuel. Do I have to create a new account to post as "Manuel" or could it be possible to change my nick to "Manuel" in any way?

I believe the admin control panel CAN change a username. However, since it's in the "admin control panel", only admins have the ability to do that.

OH ... that was fast. Seems Fanny saw this the same time I did. And the old posts still carry the name Fugitivo. I guess new posts will now have the new username attached.

mm ... that's weird. Try to "logout" of YUI-Lover, and then try login with "Manuel".

The point of changing the nick so that when you make new post, they will all have the new nick. Don't know why it's not changing for this case :rolleye

I think that it doesn't change in a topic where you've written before, like this one, or the shoutbox. But it does change in posts where you've never written.

At least that's my conclusion after posting today...

lol..I tried this before..I asked a member(I don't recall his/her name) on the shoutbox if I could change my username and he/she said that u can ask the admin and then i ask Aditz to change mine..

@*simply_kawaii*: yes, that's true! ^^ But now I see that it stays as "fugitivo" when I'm replying in a -page- where I'd written before. For example, now the shoutbox shows my new nickname ^_^ ^^

It will take sometime for this new name to find it's way to all the past post you have been posted, it is a know issue in the invisionfree board.
