Oricon: men want to sing Ai Otsuka tunes

Oricon recently asked a thousand men and women which artist of the opposite sex they would sing karaoke to.

The top choice by men was Ai Otsuka, known for many lively hits such as "Sakuranbo." YUI ranked second, followed by a tie for third between Miyuki Nakajima and Ayaka, while aiko ranked fifth.

Women, on the other hand, favored KinKi Kids. The next most popular choices were L'Arc~en~Ciel, Porno Graffiti, Mr.Children, and Kobukuro.

aww man yea i wish they had YUI songs at the chinese Karoake places i go here..i can't even read chinese...nor japanese but psh! i can carry along my ipod and stick in the pronounciation! lol....i should definitely check out the Japanese karoake places in downtown...but i'd feel so out of it...

haha i love to sing YUI songs as well.. men like to sing YUI songs might be because her songs are all in a singable range, its actually low compared to most artists. not that she has a small range, just her lowest note of her range is lower and her highest note is not that high. its really easy to sing her songs haha

no when guys sing its usually an octave lower. she has a girl voice so obviously its higher pitched sounding, but the range, when guys sing it with their voice its easy to sing cuz it fits their range. if we try to imitate YUI's voice as guys it would b quite hard lol, tho some people can probably reach two octaves and above

and yeah i wanna spend my holiday with YUI, im fantasizing about it LMAO. my next artist would probably be a band, like Relient K, Switchfoot, Yellowcard, a bunch of cool people who u would crazy stuff with lmao and fool around alot lol.

man, does Japanese men have good taste or what? :D Ai in top, YUI at second and ayaka as #3, could it be better? i don't think so.

have to agree with Dylan-san. omoshiroi desu ne... with yukio-san's post, well I'm a girl but I do have a deep or shall I say, a lower voice than a girl would normally have when she sings :lol:, when I sing YUI's songs. though I could adjust my pitch and take it a notch higher but it's like an octave higher than YUI's. Man, I can't hit her voice right..there are times though that it seemed that my voice seemed like somewhat like YUI's. Am I making sense here? :lol: :sry
