to be honest i think it looks crap. It is about L though, some film trailers look crap but are actually gems. I thhink Death note is all about KIRA's judgement and ideas. So i dont hae high hopes of this film

true but this film isn't mainly about the deathnote. i think fans were kinda disappointed in how small L's role was in both movies. i like films where you already know the ending but its the process that's explained. kinda like prequels. this isn't exactly a prequel and its not even the kira case but there's L!!! and there's that girl from what's that show.

disappointing is all i can say. i just watched it and trust me, Death Note fans and maybe to a slight extent, L fans will be thoroughly disappointed by this spinoff.
If i may add in another word to describe the movie..
it would be boring.

I watched it too... it might be disappointing for L fan...
I watched it with no expectation so still ok...
the plot and twists of the movie is not very good...
not much suspense but the theatre is full of laughter ...
