IM still learning... my fingers dont hurt, im used to it, except for my poor thumb, which i used to press hard on the thick wood, when i press only got problems with the first 3 strings... try doing it everyday, it'll sure work!

What has really made my fingers hurt nowadays is that my fretboard is like...you know the strings, well they're kind of far from the board because it's kind of bending and stuff. I can play barre chords when I have my hands on the school guitars. XD
