Yeah I know. I'm very random. I'm just wondering if there are any puppeteers or ventriloquists in this forum. Pretty amazing stuff. I am watching "Being John Malkovich" and it just fascinated the crap out of me. Please let me know. I'm very interested. Especially in puppeteers who work with marionettes, hand shadows but not so much the hand puppets.
This video is so funny:

I saw video a day ago and it's pretty offensive to some people so posting that link up might've been unecessary. But thanks for adding flavor into this thread.
you havent seen this?

he makes his puppets impersonate singers, and he sings better than alot of top singers =/
dude that was FREAKY...don like dolls but wow he really is great!! seriously!
Playing with dolls does not make you gay or feminine or anything. Unless you're a guy and you're playing with Ken. Like come on people! Wake up! How can you say no to a cutie like Barbie? I mean. Pfft. Ken over Barbie? H*ll no...
Okay back on topic: I'm interested in trying to be a puppeteer. I like the whole 'placing yourself in someone else's life' theme. Like in music and writing, you're able to do this too but not visually. It's abstract in music and writing, whereas it is tangible in puppeteering.
For example: When you sing a song by someone else, you're speaking their words and their feelings at the time. When you read a first person narrative novel, you're literally the protagonist(or main character) of the novel. When you're doing puppeteering, you get to combine the two together and actually experiencing being a different person through the body of a puppet or marionette.
