Ok ... let's go back to the math class.

Duty Charge:

It looks like they only charged the duty on the CDs and DVDs. So there is an overall handling charge (at the bottom) of $8.00, and each item shares $8.00 / 10 items = $0.80 per item

The exchange rate that is used for the duty charge is CAD$292.57 / 29141 yen (total amount minus book) = 0.01004. (this is not the same as VISA charged me)

So the Custom's value of each TYMT DVDs in CAD is 2442 yen * 0.01004 = $24.52
The Custom's value of OT's BoA CD in CAD is 3800 yen * 0.01004 = $38.15
The Custom's value of yukio's Tomorrow's Way & CBML in CAD is 3786 yen * 0.01004 = $38.01
And the Custom's value of My 3 Kobukuro DVDs in CAD is 11787 yen * 0.01004 = $118.34

The duty (6%) [item value * 0.06] and both taxes (14%) are calculated after the duty [(item value * 1.06) * 0.14].

So the Duty to:

The TYMT DVD is ($24.52 * 0.06) = $1.47
OT-only Items is ($38.15 * 0.06) = $2.29
yukio-only Items is ($38.01 * 0.06) = $2.28

And the Taxes for:

The TYMT DVD is ($24.52 * 1.06) * 0.14 = $3.64

Thus the Total Duty, Taxes, and Handling for:

The TYMT DVD is $3.64 + $1.47 + $0.80 = $5.91

yukio's Items is $5.64 + $2.28 + ($0.80 x 2) + $5.91 (TYMT DVD) = $15.43

Frozen's Items is $5.91 (TYMT DVD) = $5.91

Shipping Charge:

The total shipping HMV charged was 4700 yen for the 11 items shipped. So the shared shipping charge is:

(4700 / 11 items) * 0.009435 exchange rate (from VISA) = CAD$4.03 shipping per item

OT will pay for shipping of 2 items ($8.06), yukio will pay for shipping of 3 items ($12.09), I will pay for shipping of 5 items ($20.15), and Frozen will pay for shipping of 1 item ($4.03).

Since the VISA charged me at the exchange rate of 0.009435:

For OT's items (BoA CD, TYMT DVD) is 6242 yen * 0.009435 = $58.89
For yukio's items (TW Single, FMTY, TYMT DVD) is 6228 yen * 0.009435 = $58.76
For s0l1dsn8k3's items (4 DVDs + book) is 17129 yen * 0.009435 = $161.62

Eee.. I just realized that zenaku and mondsiu didn't buy the shirts.. so they'll be left out for the shirt pose! I guess I can bring two extra shirts for them to wear for the shirt picture still... I'll just charge them $2 for wearing it, lol.

Guitar Hero III is sold out for the Wii console in the GTA. It only outputs mono sound too. I sorta want to wait until they fix the sound to at least stereo, but it'll be nice if they can add surround sound option too. Either way, I'll most likely get Guitar Hero III once it's available for purchase.

I hope those shirts are guaranteed to be good for x number of washes. Last time I ordered custom shirts I've washed it like... twice, and it's starting to crack.

The t-shirt should last since it will be screen printed. Also, it helps if you flip the shirt inside out when you wash it and use a lighter washing mode.

It also helps if you don't iron the shirt - you can get away with having a wrinkle-free shirt if you take it out from the dryer once it's done its cycle.
