Title: Sedona, Arizona
Description: Miracles come true

JustAnotherYUILover - October 31, 2007 11:28 PM (GMT)
I'm just wondering if anyone knows about Sedona, Arizona. It is said to be one of the mystic vortexs in the world. My philosophy teacher told us a story today about how he encountered "God" in Sedona. If you take philosophy you should know about mysticism. God is everything. You can merge with God. Well basically this story has a lot to do with mysticism and I will explain more later on if you still don't understand. The story he told was very, very interesting and out of this world. I might sound crazy, but I believed him the second he began telling the story. I will tell you his story after I hear what you guys know of Sedona.

P.S.
This story is not meant to be religious. I don't care if your Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Daoist, Catholic, or even Atheist ,you name it. You shouldn't get offended in any way. You will instead see life in a whole new way and believe that there is something out there towering over us. You can call him Jesus. You can call him God. You can call him Buddha. You can call him anything. Ultimately that something is "you". And this "you" is everything. What more can "you" want if "you" are everything?

Eh I guess I'll just his story. I just want to share with you this in case your life makes a deadly turn and all seems to be wrong.

Okay so . . .

It was seven years ago. My teacher was going through bad events one by one. His wife was pregnant with his first child. His mother was diagnosed with cancer and was going to die. He didn't know if he wanted to believe in God anymore. He was an agnostic at the time. He didn't know how to make up his mind. One night he started to think about life and what the whole point of it was. You just live and the same old stuff happens over and over again. He pictured his son going through the same stuff every person goes through(school, high school, dating girls, college, getting old, and so on.) Some day his own son will have a son and he will go through the same things. He pictured himself getting older and older as his son started to get more and more mature. He would be following his father's footsteps(getting older and older until he one day would die). He asked himself, "what was the freaking point of all this?"

Okay short break. I know. I know. It was getting good and meaningful but I have something to say.

I was just going through this trouble a couple of days earlier before my teacher told his story. At that time I couldn't concentrate on anything. I thought of the meaning of life so much to the point that I also concluded that everything will just go on and on forever and there really is no point. When I thought of this, I started to cry very badly in my room. It was so painful for me. I was just recovering from this, but as soon as my teacher told his story, I felt like I was being comforted by a message from a higher being. I felt as if there was something or someone speaking through my teacher to comfort me.

Okay so continuing with the story. . .

His wife wanted to get away from all these troubles and decided that they were going to go on vacation by recommendation by a friend. Just the two of them. They were going to go to Sedona, Arizona. His wife said it was going to be great and "life changing". My teacher at that time didn't really know what to do and he also felt like just throwing all his troubles aside so he went along with it.

They got to Sedona and they wanted to get something to eat. They stopped in the middle of a desert where they were going to look for a restuarant. As soon as my teacher got out of his car, he felt a gust pass through him. It made a strange noise. Some sound that sounded very mystical. He swears that he wasn't on drugs or anything at the time(this was suppose to be something for those that wanted to know). He looked right in front of him and saw three mountains. The middle mountain was "communicating with him". He said that it was literally like a "vortex" drawing him in. At that exact moment, he said to his wife, "I have to climb that mountain."(We had a big laugh out of that as he imitated his wife's reactions and his own words.) His wife thought he was losing his mind so she stepped aside and told him okay just go. My teacher started to follow the vortex until he ended up very close to the mountain. He saw a tiny plateau so he decided to climb on top of it. He got up. "I felt so content at that point." he said. (You know how it feels like when you feel very content and as if you didn't want anything in the world because you had everything? Well times that by a billion. That's exactly how my teacher felt.) "I was the cactus. I was the mountains. I was the sky. I was everything." he said. He felt like he had merged with everything around him.

My teacher then looked up into the sky and saw an eagle. He looked at the eagle. He felt that if he went up and touched the eagle, it would ripple and the whole world would fall apart. He then realized the eagle wasn't there. It wasn't really in the sky. Right at that moment, he felt like he became the eagle. He said that he was in the eagle's body, soaring through the skies. He saw what the eagle saw. He knew what the eagle knew. So as an eagle he scanned the area. He saw Indians on the bottom fiddling with something. He then instantly saw the face of an Indian. The Indian was literally, not even a feet away from him. His face was right in front of his face. Right at that moment, he felt the same thing as he did when he saw the eagle. If he were to go up to the Indian and touch him, the whole world would ripple. The Indian started to talk to my teacher. He told him about the world and etc. He also told him the answer to the question he was searching for his whole life. The Indian said, "the meaning of life, is to love." After my teacher had awakened, he realized that the eagle and Indian was never actually there in front of him, "they are always there".

My teacher then goes back to his wife and they go into a restuarant. He looks at the restuarant and spots a sign.(Sorry. I don't remember what he said the sign said but it had to do with what just happened to him.) My teacher walked up to the cashier and said, "something just happened to my life." The cashier then said to him, "oh then you should really talk to Mark." My teacher walks up to this Mark person and starts to talk to him about what had just happened. Mark asked my teacher which mountain he was at. He told him the middle mountain. Mark told him that the middle mountain was the mountain of the eagles or Indians(something like that. I forget because of all the gasping and talking of my classmates). Mark was able to finish my teacher's sentences before he was even able to finish his sentence and the same for my teacher and Mark's sentences. Mark finally said that many people come to Sedona each year just to witness what he did had just witnessed. There would be people coming to Sedona, looking for this out of the world experience. My teacher's wife almost fainted but now she believed in what he just said. My teacher felt like a change person and became who he is today. A philosopher.

There are more mystic vortexs in this world but I forget where they are.

I hope you enjoyed this story as much as I did.

So there is a sighting of an procedure. I believe in God even If I don't know what I am. I don't even know I'm Asian. I've a hard time with that. I pray almost sometimes. I have to step with Buddha then I have to get permission to see God. I think this is true to me and all. I talk to him lots of time and I see what I see in my mind. Dreams. I knew then I was different than myself. I thought I was born from Heaven , but God hasn't tell me. God always say to me live up to what you believe in. You know how the weather always changes God says that an knight of his has gone berserk and is messing with the weather of nature. I believe him and sometimes I see something soaring through the sky. Anyways...

I enjoyed the story. A man reaching a mountain.

@PeaceOfYui:Am I missing the concept? I'm not trying to bring religion into this thread! That isn't my purpose. When I say God I don't mean Jesus' dad, God. I don't mean any particular god. When I say God, I mean everything around us. If we are able to merge with our surroundings, we too can become 'God'. And the story is not about a man reaching the mountain. . . I don't think you even read it or tried to understand it. I've learned that, in order to learn something new, we must throw away what we have been taught(and maybe even corrupted with). You basically need to do the same. Sorry if you feel offended. I didn't mean to take you out of your society.

@Fanny:You should go to Sedona. Many people have witnessed this. I wouldn't say it is "God's grace", but who knows. As I said earlier, when I say God I don't mean Jesus' father in anyway. I believe that everyone needs to start looking at life in a way where no one is segregated, no culture is silenced, no religion is looked at with a biased eye. This way, we can start to solve problems not as a race, not as a particular group, not as individuals, but as living beings and humans.

Sorry if I offended anyone. I think more about philosophy than religion.
