kakashi - October 6, 2007 03:10 PM (GMT)
Hey ... i got abit og a problem here

i changed from my CTR 1280X720 to an LCD 1400X1050.. but after changeing every video i play lags very badly . like laging ever few seconds .. and the sound is not sync with the video. this is not the case before i changed the screen. there is no driver for my screen

so is it my graphics card not compatitable or somthing? the screen suppose to work with anything that supports 1400X1050..

Help me? how to make it Anti lag?

Mind giving us the Brand and Model of the LCD monitor?

Some LCD has a slow response to image changes, and if you play action games on the computer such as FPS (Counter-Strike for example), you might notice that even when you try to move your character, the screen seems to have a delay.

that's a very good monitor u got there... 5ms response time, comparable to alot of the high end gaming monitors out there!

shouldn't be the monitor problem, here's some possible solutions

did u connect the monitor directly to your graphics card? if the problem is your graphics card compatibility, try testing it out by connecting your monitor to your motherboard directly.

go to your computer display properties (control panel -> display) and go to settings. your monitor should be listed there along with your graphics card. play around with the settings (e.g resolution, colours etc etc). start with the lowest.

nowadays monitors use the DVI connection to connect to the CPU instead of the old VGA. from the site u gave me it supports both, so i guess u should use the DVI cable and see if it improves.

play around with the monitor settings

thats all i can offer... hope it helps! if all else fails contact the experts - the acer guys :sry

It could be possible that the monitor is defective. I'm using my first LCD so I'm no expert with LCD monitors.

ah great. DVI does wonders ... HDTV_ms_superlive_2006_yui looks good... clear ! but the voice not synced with the video ... what can i go about that? every single clip i play has this problem .. even if its stright from the DVD
