Both are based on the movie according to the description.
I found them on Amazon.co.jp and I've read neither.

KLCC's kinokuniya only got the novel if i'm not mistaken..the manga ver. they don't have it...i'll try to check it again later..

first time i saw the two covers i immediately thought that the white one is based from the movie and the left one is based on the drama...

the white definitely is YUI and tsukamoto... just look at the outfit... almost the same... especially the girl...

on the other cover, no comment... haven't and have no plans on watching the drama...

well.. it's obivous.. because YUI's hait isn't as long as the girl in the other cover and doesn't wear colourful cloth in taiyou no uta :la@

Well, all of them are based on the works of "Kenji Bando" the screenwriter of the movie Taiyonouta... Really no idea which version is which tho...
