full metal alchemist. not everyone like it but most people do. it has a great story which took 4 years in making.

darker than black. its like action meets suspense. great ideas in it as well. not as good as fma but still good.

BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad. i would prefer the manga but the anime has great music which really matches the story. if you're a music fan and anime watcher, you gotta watch this one.

oh and watch gundam 00 when it comes out. supposably good.

Black Lagoon - i liked the attitudes in the characters and the development of the other characters that are involved..the action sequences/fights ..the violence it's pretty kick arse ..

They are both made by he same anime company so the animation is good. It's softer without hard outlines. The background seems like water ccolour like ish paintings.


They are both hilarious but some bits almost made me cry (HAGU chan).
That said lilo and Stitch: Stitch got a stitch almost made me cry and yes im a guy.

i used to watch nodame cantabile as well. the drama only though. read the manga for a while but didn't like the art. really funny show. hitman reborn is really good as well.

Basilick, Beck (good anime about a music group), Black lagoon, Kekkaishi, Gintama,...

anyway, i just watched my 2,000nd episode of anime the other week (go me!).
i'm currently watching Jungle wa itsumo Hale nochi Guu and it's freaking hilarious!!! XD awesome series!

oh, and my favourite animes:
Full Metal Panic! (and FMP! Fumoffu? and FMP! The Second Raid) - TSR is imo the best of the three
Full Metal Alchemist - awesome series that just gets better and better with each episode
Cowboy Bebop - it's a classic, and the fights are cool
Haibane Renmei - slow paced, and very beautiful, and the music is great
Juuni Kokuki (The Twelve Kingdoms) - a great series based on a series of fantasy novels that are really good
Wolf's Rain - hmm.... was it that good? i guess it was...
Mahou Shoujotai - this one was just so... special, and kinda cute, and good looking

add School Rumble to that list. both seasons. :)

i'm left with gurren lagann's final episode to watch

AND SERIOUS IT'S THE BEST ANIME I'VE WATCH

(1)Full Metal Alchemist - Probably one of the best anime around and one of the few animes that made me cry.. the movie is equally as great...
(2)Monster - This anime has a great story plot... really enjoyed it
(3)KIBA - like the story and the fighting scenes
(4)Romeo X Juliet - if you are into romance, go watch this anime!!
(5)Blood+ - action packed and superb fighting scenes
(6)Ouran High School Host Club - Funny anime... i practically laugh for every episode

Mushishi is always my favorite.

why? when i had finished watching it i wished it was longer because it was so good! it just gets better and better with every episode until it gets unbelievably great! :D

don't take away Elfen Lied! sure, there's a lot of blood and stuff in it, but it's still an awesome series! and btw, the other ones you mentioned doesn't seem very not gory either. i've seen Hellsing, but not the other two.
