I am really looking forward to Gundam 00. I also can't wait to hear L'Arc en Ciels opening song. So far I just heard some really low quality clips of it.

im kind of a gundam fan. favourites were X and seed. 00 is set in the real world but in the future i think. dont have much info but apparently country names are the same as real life countries.

reviving this thread just to notify that they have new opening and ending songs. ending's by stephanie which im not familiar with but the opening is by the brilliant green!! some ppl might know them, some might but we should all know tommy heavenly/february6. or meister, the band who played my world down in the beck anime. well basically the brilliant green is a tomoko+meister guitarist+tomoko's husband on bass. anyways, the point is they're doing the OP for 00 so can't wait till episode 14 comes out to listen. anyone watch gundam 00 btw? i do at least.

BAD ? Somehow when i look at the enemy mecha, i got a nostalgic feeling to Front Mission.. The story is still ok for me..

Well.. compared to the older GUNDAM enemy mecha design like Tallgeese, Zaku and the others..
Enemy mecha design is soo bad...

the person who draws in 00 is the same person who drew euruka7. i like the designs of the gundams but not the teirans and flag fighters or whatever the enemies are called

Looking forward to TBG opening. They doesn't sound like a "Gundam Opening" though, so I wonder how it would sound.

About the series itself, yeah it is kind of dissapointing really. It's kind of like Wing.
So far it is boring really.

Anyway I'm still watching it though.

Mech Design is okay, those "Flags" (Union) are cool though. Compared to wings' "Aries" , I like wings design more.

Gundam Design is cool too, except for "Virtue" :sayw

I'm wondering about the tbg song as well. probably a fast song,
the ending i like but it didn't feel like an ending song. maybe the next ending will be different.
i agree with virtue looking quite bulky and ugly. but there's a reason for that. you'll know if you're up to date with 00.

@zenaku: I agree, the song doesn't seemed to fit the ending video. A slow song would be more fitting. But I guess they didn't want to make the series more "girly" (if you know what I mean), so they put in a rock song of The Back Horn.

eh...i think that gundam 00 is a not bad anime although i only watched until the first 2 episodes...its kinda fresh though being that the drawer has changed...but i would still prefer gundam seed cause the plot's fantastic :sry

the plot's changing a lot now. it's starting to surpass seed. after i watched the most recent episode i was just like wow.

yea gundam 00! :cool so far its the next anime i love since claymore :good

i think i liked many parts where the story tries to link with our world abit, but what i love most is the other different character like etc sumeragi ( strategist in gundam so cool!) Felt & Christ ( especially the one that can hack so easily), wang liu mei (so cute) , Graham Aker ( holy shit he should have been the Exia's pilot!)

I just dun gettit y Setsuna and Allejulah is so weak.. @@ Lockon and the Virtue pilot (forget the name) is much cooler. if i'm not wrong virtue pilot is the strongest.. at least for now. very rationale.. can access to veda data.. can change gundam into another mode with the hair ( abit like evagelion? :sayw )

i watched 19, it's so good. graham is such a good pilot.

Okay I haven't watched 00 for months. Last episode I've seen is ep12. And it wasn't that good till then. It was in fact pretty boring like most of us here agreed. But now all of a sudden everyone here LIKES it, and "plot even surpass Seed"?!! Episodes giving "Goosebumps"?!! What the heck happened in these 6 episodes??

Okay, I'm going to start watching again. It may take a while to dl & watch all 6 eps. I'm reallly curious about this, everyone all of a sudden likes it. At least here on YL. Haven't really followed the other opinions on the net for it.

=.= we knew he was kurdish since ep1...he was in the war!!! and his mom did say his name in an earlier flashback. nothing special, he's setsuna now. the thrones are all looks, not as strong as i thought they would be.
