Well, for me, I've been a fan of Eva for quite long now, ever since I watched it back in my pre-poly days. This was after I got my 'O' level, some 9 years now...

I'm just praying hard that someone somewhere within Singapore's media industry is either a big fan of this or made a mistake in the "upcoming movies we should bring into Singapore" form and have this movie shown on the big screens here.

I watched it too, and after hear the Rebuild of Evangelion is wanna come out.
I feel so happy to see the cute face of Asuka again.

Evangelion is TOO depressing. I mean the series started out great on the first half and then it seemed to have go down. Manga is a bit better though, I think.

Haha, imo Shinji is one of the worst main characters I have ever seen in anime. Sorry guys, but he is >.>.

Anyway, I'm not an Evangelion hater. I used to be a big fan myself back in 4th grade or so. When I tried buying the manga, one lady said I have to be in high school to read it lol. I just started to like it less after meeting some 'hardcore' fans in middle school and high school.

Series is pretty deep, but the anime ended in a crappy way... Until they released End of Evangelion.

Yeah. I agree... Shinji is just such a crappy main character. But it fits the show well. Because of him, it made everyone around him stronger.

Rebuild of Evangelion (Evangelion 01: You are (not) alone) is out. Opened a couple of weeks ago in Japan. Praying hard that it'll reach here.

Well, after watching all the trailers and reading some descriptions of the movie, the story is going to be about episodes 1-6 of the anime, so don't expect any Asuka in there. She might appear in the 2nd movie.

I guess after all the bad feedback about Weta's Live Action adaptation of Evangelion, it's probably good to release this to make the fans happy.

I guess Eva is on the list of "most fans of a fictional story". Probably behind Star Wars and Star Trek.

Well, just to bump this thread again... because I've just gotten word from Cathay Singapore that they'll be showing Evangelion: 1.0 You are (Not) Alone here, in Singapore, in March.
