i watched 1408 yesterday nite..

its about this hotel room with a very evil atmosphere.. after the movie, i still have no idea what was the message the director wanted to bring out.. it wasn't scary.. no ghost or demon watsoever, it was just like the guy past came back to haunt him.. the show is full of zz...

but samuel l jackson churned up another thumbs up performance as always.. he was a joy to watch even though his scene involved only dialouge.. he was so surreal in his characther..

too much hidden stuffs i cant unravel.. i give this show a thumbs down..

Oh, I watched this a while back when it came out. I can barely remember what happened because I didn't think this movie was that spectacular either.

I think the movie trailers made the 1408 into a horror/thriller type of movie but there weren't many scary things about it. I ended up looking around at the audience to see ppl's reactions. it was kinda funny seeing all girls squirm and their boyfriends huddling closer. but anyway i must say that ...the sound effects and special effects saved this movie ...if it weren't for that..it would've been really really boring.

I think this movie was based on a short story. This movie kinda dealt with more psychological things i think...with his dead daughter and a human mind. He lost something and he becomes entrapped into looking for ghosts/spirits and whatnot....meh i don't know i think Sixth Sense did a better job?

It wasn't the worst move i've seen but yea it wasn't too great either...
