Where can I find a good guitar shop with a reasonable price around? I found one at Mid Valley but the price kinda high for me ~ Any1 could suggest me elsewhere than MV?

ummm there's 2 shops(at least) in MV... both are pretty much ok... but that one near the cinema... there's a pain-in-the-ass fatty there running the store... and he's a bloody snob!! try ask him question n he'll give u stupid answers like "ask ur teacher". how i wish to punch him square in his nose.

the other one near jusco... that one is good. and u can get ur mid- or higher-range guitars(both electric n acoustic guitars) from there. they have books there too... at standard prices... so i think it's still reasonable.

if u dont mind the trouble, u can try looking in KL city. there's a big store in kl, opposite planet hollywood. the name's bently music. that shop has most anything u might wanna look for about guitars and other instruments(drums, brass instruments, violins etc)..

another guitar shop.. it's near the bus terminal in KL. shop's name is woh fatt(a very chinese shop). it's a smaller store compared to bently, and it's also harder to find, but it has the cheaper things there as well as some super-high-range stuff, and the prices are better compared to bently. u can find parts for ur instruments there too... even things u never thought u might never need(screws, gimmicks, springs.... u name it).

there're other shops around too, so dont immediately jump into conclusion on buying. scout around, and ask around for a better idea of what u shud get and what's in the market. Woh Fatt n Bently is highly recommended by me as the staff there are also very friendly and the choices there are just awesome.

i'm not sure about the price, but there's 2 guitar stores in ss2, one of them was called Mahogany while the other was called Mighty Music (i think). if u're looking for electric guitar, maybe B.C. Rich ones, there's 1 guitar store in tmn mayang which stocks those. the shop's name Ironwood. if u know the area around subang, there's pretty alot of guitar stores around ss15.
