It's not hard to find, but I still can't find the way to the front of the house and I have no time to find it too. To go to this place, you just take Enoden Line (Enoshima Dentetsu Line) from Kamakura station and get off at Shichirigahama station. You'll defenitely see this place.

Ok, back to Kamakura station again. This pix was taken from a bus terminal at Kamakura station. Riviera Zushi Marina was the destination.

Kaoru parents' restaurant.
user posted image
This place was the reason that made me back to Kamakura for the 2nd time.... cos it was closed on 1st time.
user posted image

user posted image
Then I went back again to try some Italian foods there..... but again.... I was enjoy Enoshima too much (pixs will come after this) so that I couldn't come here at lunch hour... :huhuhu

artunee - June 1, 2007 03:38 PM (GMT)
btw. These were the same place that Kouji confessed his love and was the place that poor Kaoru ran away from the rising sun. It is just a parking lot for surfers. Kamakura is a heaven for surfers. There were so many surfers on those 2 days in Kamakura.

So did you feel any special YUI presence when you went to these places? I can feel it just by "looking" at the pictures nevermind being there. If I were you I would've went up and down the Stairway of memories until the sun set.

If you saw Taiyou no Uta Drama you should remember the lighthouse in the pix above. This was one of Drama's location.

Kouji did his part-time job here.

Wow great pictures! Haven't seen the movie yet, but I will watch it very soon. What kind of camera did you take the pictures with if I may ask? It's one of the Sony Cybershot series right (seeing the pictures names start with DSC...)?

I'll be in Japan for some time from mid-August and I'll be landing on Narita airport, so maybe I'll visit some of these locations as well, as they aren't very far from Narita. ^^

Anyway, great topic!

It's a Fuji Finepix F30. Where do you plan to stay in Japan? You should plan your trip before going there. For more info, pls feel free to ask me.

s0l1dsn8k3 - June 4, 2007 03:56 PM (GMT)
artunee, did you use a tripod (or a monopod) for those night pics? They look clear and sharp, especially the one with the train passing by (well the train is blurry since it's speeding by, but the car and road sign look sharp)

the_chap - June 5, 2007 03:12 AM (GMT)
Do you have the different locations marked on a map? I've no idea where in Kamakura they are...

yeah, I use a tripod for night-shoot when I use slow shutter mode. Actually, the train didn't speeding up that fast, this bcos I used slow-syncro flash mode. Without a tripod, it will blur cos by hand can't be stable enough. Even with a tripod, I sometimes use self-timer too. Cos the camera might shake when you press shutter button (my camera don't have a remote).

s0l1dsn8k3 - June 5, 2007 04:26 AM (GMT)
Yeah I know the train doesn't really "speed" by. But with the slow shutter, it gives that impression with the motion blur.

I wasn't able to bring a tripod when I went to Japan last time, so many of my night shots didn't turn out that good.

Anyways, Nice pics!
