guys can you tell me who is kaoru amane? and is taiyou no uta movie base on true story? or fiction? i'm just curious about her

Kaoru Amane...I believe, is a character. Wasn't the movie and drama based on a book? XD I haven't researched much on it, but wait for the older and wiser people to tell you about it.

Actually ... YUI's song is credit as "YUI for Amane Kaoru" because YUI wrote and sing it for the character, while Erika's is credited as just "Amane Kaoru" because it's under the character of the drama.

Er... It's a fictional character... Although XP, or Xenoderma pigmentosum, is real, the symptoms and manifestation are also slightly different from what's portrayed in the movie... What's true is the lowered tolerance to UV rays...

Amane Kaoru is a fictional character..i think its based on a novel. but why they made the drama after they had the movie beats me...

Japan like to cash in on anything popular and overload it into every medium (Book, Movie, TV, Music). I think I've read that Japanese don't watch movie as much so in order to get a larger audience, they follow up with a TV drama.

Not sure. I've not watched it yet. I'll probably watch it if I can find it. It's over 10yrs old, so it might be tricky to try and get it. Seems to be getting good reviews so I guess it's worth a watch.

I had just watch the movie yesterday for my first time (Buy from Hongkong). I like her too. I don't think this movie will base on novel becuase in the movie had inclued YUI's songs too. And i think in the novel has songs it will be differents lyrics and meaning from YUI's songs. :wink

Maybe not the songs, but the story plot would be.

I believe she did play a bit of guitaring here and there... Quite sure she also didn't sing in the PV... But I think she did sing in the drama... Or else it would be a little too "fake"...

and i think she is continue learning the guitar right now..

in the PV of taiyou no uta...she WAS playing the guitar but isn't strumming along with the song...if you can notice on the pv...she only plays a C of G chord...

Well, fans will always be fans. The same can be said about their idols.

Well, stuff like that. So it's all a PoV. No one's right and no one's wrong. My friends have called me "obsessive" and "dumb" for my investments in YUI. But like-wise can be said about them, who shell out money for the things they like or the girls they're dating.

It's basically the same as me, just that all the things I like happen to be YUI-related.

At least you can make investment on YUI..I can't even find a piece of YUI'S work at where I live... I agree about the ''fans'' thing, i remember i almost threw my hp out of the window when my friend smsed telling me Rolling Star suck!
