Has anybody watched the movie Pirates of the Caribbean 3? Yup I watched it on friday it was cool exept i thought the boy at the beginning was the boy at the really really end after the credits. so it was kind of confusing because then the beginning could be the end or the end was the beginning.i just wanted to see what other people think so pls reply! thx

Woah?? There was something after the credits?!?! Maybe they were following the whole 'Up is Down' thing with that *shrugs*

anyway, pirates 3 wasn't that bad. Alot of dialogue (pirate slang) and way lots of cool computer graphics and special effects.

i'll give my full opinion when i come back from football .. .

pirates Caribbean 3? em... pirates Caribbean 1 n 2 is great, wanna watch it... :lol:

WATCHED IT! LOVED IT! it was way long but worth my $7.50. but i didn't stay for the thing after the credits tho. makes me wonder...

it was fun to watch...but i didnt really enjoy pirates 2 and 3 a lot...it was confusing. in pirates 2 they seemed to have just created problems so that they could have a 3rd movie (or well thats how i felt)...

and i duno about u guys but i''ve always had trouble hearing what Kalypso or the witch doctor lady speak..her accent is so strong...

i felt lost a lot of times cuz i didnt watch the 2nd one since it came out in theatres and i've forgotten most of what happened...

the fight scenes were neat and all..and the graphics, costume/set designs were very cool but i felt some fight scenes were just draaaaaaagged out....some ppl fell asleep in the theatres in the beginning too lol...but since the fights were so long..it kinda made me forget what the whole point of their fighting was about..other than the key and the heart thing..and then once they start talking..its like oh right they have to figure that out :S..i guess what i'm saying is..because the fights were so long sometimes it made the whole story/situation not as important?

/shrugs/....i thought it was okay..it's probably stilll worth a watch for the designs and effects...

Haha... The movie was rather ok... Not the best of all... But definately is worthed the money... The parrot rox... XD

haha to me this movie was really good better than i expected. i enjoyed 1 & 2 also but i didn't expect this to be my fav of the series. and it did.. the storyline (although some parts not much sense, its still quite a good storyline) and the funny scenes on the whole has gave mi a very satistfying and entertaining experience and i didn't even realise it was like er 2hour n a half.

and to think that i was sitting on the front-most corner seat :lol: while watching this. haha. and oh man i didn't wait for credits cos i was rushing home! Nvm guess i'll have da watch again. 7.5/10

Just watched it, a few days ago. Quite a nice way to end the series :)

Loved the third movie but imo, there was too much Swann to go around and too little Sparrow.

Sparrow always cracks the best jokes imo, and one question, was that code keeper his father or his brother? =S

I prefer the 2nd movie, but POTC3 wasn't disappointing.=D It's just that the 2nd one was more amusing.=p

haha i was like just walking out and clapping.. yeah great movie.. just as long as the pirates trend goes.. it is a confusing storyline, which makes people so passionate to watch it again

Calypso didn't do much for a 'goddess' and the big scenes of fleets of ship should have just crash into world war 3 to make a even great movie!~ XD btw.. i watched twice.. still rox. lol. just for the ending credit. ended up quite lame..

LOL same, i just walked out of the theatre. (it was so hard to get seats and it was so hard to get out.=_=) i used to clap at the end of movies, but realized its kinda pointless.

I thought Pirates 3 was a terrible movie. Very very average..

Calypso did NOTHING! There was no development in her character, she just kind of appeared.. And what's with Chow Yun Fat calling Elizabeth "Calypso"?

I think it was too rushed. Too many issues being resolved in too short a time. Not enough emphasis on main story.. Too many characters, and not enough story to correctly introduce them. Keira was overly made up, throughout the whole movie.. She was never dirty when she was meant to be..

A film I recommend (although many of you can't watch it due to the R rating) is The Wrong Man (aka Lucky Number Slevin)..

Looking back to the movie, it could be the producer wants expose the Calypso's identity indirectly as Calypso's identity is being told when Barbossa introduces her in the Black Pearl. It might as well to shown the pirates could have known each other for a long time, isn't it?

This is because to develop a story line which is not really relevant to the movie (For Keira .. too much attention is given just to show her love to Will Turner ~ too much time is wasted) impedes the others' character story development as well.
