It does actually; you just need to change encoding to Shift-JIS in your browser.

We've had a discussion on a Japanese chat before. However though, this project is on the rocks at the moment. Well, if you're pretty fluent, then maybe more people would jump to the idea. We have a few who know a fair bit, and some with only a 2nd grade knowledge. ^^"

The problem of having a japanese chat is almost the same as having a group convo... People here are all in different timezones... To top things up only very few people here can actually speak fluent japanese...

The forum database can support Shift-JIS, as well as Unicode characters.
I'd prefer Unicode since you can see the Japanese/Chinese/(whatever language) characters without the need to change the encoding in the browser.

The sad thing is that my computer doesn't support the encoding, but it can read some of the hiragana text. >_< It's also not just a 'you have to install the encoding into the computer' thing, either. *shrugs shoulders* Oh well..

try this way, on your browser go to VIEW--> character encoding ---> choose japanese (shift_JIS)

the right one is 私が忘れった「わたしがわすれった」
then about "WA" when you write "anata wa", it's "HA(は）" not "WA(わ）but you read it as "wa"
so "あなたはだれですか？" it's mean "who are you"
then about つ and っ, do you see the diffrent? yeah, big and small.
for example like what you wrote above "よかつたな" (yokatsutana), i dunno what that's mean ^^, it's f "よかった”(Yokatta),
