hey YUI-lovers!

i've actually been browsing about on this forum as a guest for quite some time..but now that finals are over...i finally registered!

anywhoos, I'm from Vancouver in Canada. i'm pretty much a CBC (Canadian born Chinese) and i actually don't know much chinese and i'm absolutely japanese illiterate..but i hope to pick up an asian language and learn it fluently sometime in my lifetime!

I've been a fan of YUI's since her LIFE single (BLEACH)...umm..let's see my birthday's two days after YUI's birthday ahha and i've had YUI's CHE.R.RY song as my ringtone for quite some time...

I enjoy her music very much and she makes me wanna learn the guitar! lol but yea at first her music kinda reminded me of Michelle Branch and when i saw YUI perform Michelle's Goodbye To You i was amazed!

I got into jpop music probably b/c my frd got me into watching anime again...some of my fav j-pop artists include: Do As Infinity, Younha (i love her new korean album..it's awesome), UVERworld, ELLEGARDEN, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, m-flo, Mika Nakashima, melody. ....etc. i'm also a big fan of Switchfoot here in North America..

i hope to get to know everyone here!

There are a number of members here that are from Vancouver. Perhaps you guys should have an Vancouver outing, like the one we just did with the few of us Toronto members.
