Episode 5 aired this morning. I still have to watch episode 4. *Le gasp*
The
Production IG page for it has some interesting stuff on it, mainly character designs.
The first DVD (episodes 1 and 2) will be released in June, with the second one following in July.
It's been picked up by Geneon for US release.
Production IG have only completely disappointed me once. Blood: The Last Vampire was horrible. And I didn't like Innocence, but that's entirely Mamoru Oshii's fault.
So, you know, I'm not worried.
Seirei no Moribito is based off the Moribito novels by *what's her face*, specifically, the first two books. *What's her face* apparently wasn't going to let anyone adapt it, but because Kenji Kamiyama was going to direct it, she didn't mind. And for the life of me, I can't remember the woman's name. Oh well.
Naturally, the only reason I watched it was because ProIG did it. But after watching the first episode, I wanted more... And I got more... And now I can't stop!
Balsa's awesome. I like Jin, too. I don't like how Balsa is so mean to Jin. That makes me cry. And because it's being directed by Kenji Kamiyama, I'm always goig to compare it to Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. It's in my nature.
And I really can't wait until Chagum gets his hair cut. I want to rip it out...
And I also really can't wait until Madman talk to Geneon and get Australian/New Zealand distribution rights. I don't want to get cheated again...
*End fangirlism*
