i love this game and just got the 360 verison

Man, this is one of my favourite games of all time. Haha. I'm playing on the PS2, and still haven't gotten the 360 version yet. The PS2 version is already so sweet, I wonder how it'll be on my 360. B)

Definitely a fun game to play, but I really suck at it. My brother, who plays drums has managed to beat Guitar Hero 2 on the PS2 in expert level, getting 5 stars on EVERY song :(

I'd like to try guitar hero, but people have said that the game is hard. Is it like another kind of game? I don't have 360, but I have PS2...I haven't seen it in stores before. Is it old, or new? XD

I prefer play O2Jam or DDR than guitar Hero.

GH2 is pretty.......old/new. In other words, it's neither. A really good game regardless.

The game is not hard to pick up, yet not easy to master. But if you get the hang of it, it's ultimate fun. It makes you feel like you're playing a guitar for real. Very funky. XD

haha ... and you're suppose to be the guitarist.

I guess his drumming and sense of rhythm/beats helps.

I haven't played guitar hero at all, but I have played the Japanese guitar game before. I wasn't very good at it, and I didn't have as much interest in guitars back then.

Tell me about it. But the thing with GH2 is that some of the notes don't really fall in at the same time as the buttons you press. Although you may think you're hitting the right notes, you may actually be missing them. Hence, many real guitarists say that the game is more of a drummer's game haha. Guitar Hero 2 is successful in exposing people to music they might not have ever bothered paying attention to, which is very cool. And it could also inspire a person to maybe one day pick up a REAL guitar :biggrin

I loved the Japanese guitar game better than what's made available on the American consoles....it's a shame that I don't have a Japanese playstation or guitar controller to play that game...the songs were so much better too!

I haven't played guitar hero myself, but I assumed the North American game is mainly rock.

I like those Japanese music games. Specifically, I like the Pop N' Music series. Even though it may look simple with just button pressing rather than playing a "guitar controller", I like the song selections and the varieties of those songs. There's Pop, Rock, (both from mainstream and indie) and even Classcials (arranged for faster beats).

Agreed, there was definitely a greater variety of song types with the Japanese version...talking about this makes me want to see if I can somehow get my hands on a copy now haha.

yeah, like it, but I prefer Guitar Freaks & Drum Mania, cause all the song ara newest Japanese

This game is BOMB! I have both 1 and 2 for playsation. I can't get enough of it!! ^_^

yea the 360 verison is very good, especially with the new design of the controller and i think like 30 somthing-ish new songs with 10 songs a month on xbox live :D
