Hello everyone!
I'm a new Yui fan and have been listening to her music everyday since. Just saw her film as well and loved it, very moving.
Even though I'm half Japanese, I never delved much into Japanese music untill recently, and I am loving it! My two favorite artists so far are definitely Yui and Yuna Ito. I'm an aspiring performing songwriter here in Southern California, so I approach everything I listen to with that mind set (Structure, melody, etc.). These two artists, especially Yui, stand out from what I've heard so far, and has totally blown me away. I'm definitely going to be writing some new songs that are Yui inspired. :lol:
Well just wanted to introduce myself and also say thanks to the people that run and contribute to this board. I was reading some of the translations of the Yui Diary's and I appreciate those people taking the time to do that. I don't speak or read any Japanese, so I rely on the rough translations. I hope to learn it in the near future though, as I deifnitely would like to start writing new songs in Japanese.

Welcome Brent. I also like YUI and Yuna Ito. YUI has the song writing, and Yuna has the voice. Maybe they should do some collaboration.
