I just had to register to this board and post that I love the movie!

I've been enjoying Yui's music, and heard about the movie, so got it and am totally moved. Such a great performance by her as an actress, and the music was fantastic!

Sorry I created another thread, but I just had to say how much I loved the film! It definately adds a different feeling to her music now than before when I didn't know of the film. Such a sad story, but great at the same time.

I'm definately going to be showing it to as many people as I can to get them into her music as well. I'm from Southern California, so no one has heard of her here for the most part, but I'll change that. :D

becausee i 'accidentally' saw the last 10 - 15 min of the movie on youtube? i was watching all the singing bits on youtube :D and den when i saw the end i didnt like to movie anymore, its so cruel!! lol

hehe... me 2 i oso noe her becos of the movie and love her voice... oso noe of this forum weeks ago and oso noe so many from all parts of the world like her...

taiyou no uta is a very very nice movie. if you haven't watched it, make sure you do sometime soon! and if you get a chance, check out the drama too :)

i went to torrent it... took me 3 full days cos not many people seed it... was lucky that i could finished it on the day i flew overseas...

yep it is a great movie. now that there is a DVD that have eng subs... i'm going to make my brother buy it for me!!! yey!!! :toast

i'm actually here because i've accidentally turned on the TV and there was Feel my soul playing. that was the first time i saw YUI. her voice haunts me like a ghost. i keep wanting to hear it again. that's why i join this forum. btw, i love the movie taiyou no uta that she played. i watch the 4 hour movie version and the drama version wich take me about 8 hours in front of the TV. to bad it's not YUI playing there, but erika sawajiri is really cute too, but not as good as YUI.

akuchan, are you serious?! Haha, go down Dixon St and check out the store you recommended to me. XD Yeah, I really loved this movie too! I even cried when the XP took over her hand -oops am I spoiling it? XD-, and I'm not that kind of person that cries when they watch movies. :o I'm so jealous of that guy who played Kouji cause he got to "kiss" YUI. Even though its fake... I'm still jealous. XD

I also haven't watched the movie yet. It's on my hard drive with subtitles but I just can't be bothered to sit down in front of com for 1 hr plus..:D

Same for the drama version starring Erika Sawajiri. Downloaded all episodes, but never had the time to watch.

definitely a great movie...that would keep you on watching it over and over again...^^

agreed.. taiyou no uta is a very good movie... it's kinda sad movie (especially the ending) but the storyline is very good.. yui's acting is also very cute.. >-<!!

although i only watched this movie on youtube but still i enjoyed it very much..

You watched it on Youtube then there is a little parts that has been cut out on the Youtube websites because i have full version of the movie and i seen the youtube version and the version that i downloaded there are some part that are missing.

I think it's a very good movie, i have seen it yesterday and i was very touched by the story, Yui play Kaoru very well :)

lol i know yui from bleach opening rolling star ... nice than i go search the singer up ... than i hear all the songs so nice!!! than last year got her movie ... man i really wanted to go but missed it so i bought the DVD ( only last week)
